CMC Process Chemist

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct literature reviews to formulate process R&D plans aligned with project goals.

2. Design and execute experiments per the process development plan.

3. Lead process development activities including reaction optimization, impurity isolation, work-up optimization, and crystallization process research.

4. Maintain clear, compliant experimental records and systematically analyze/report data.

5. Coordinate with external vendors for outsourced project activities.

6. Support lab instrumentation maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree or above in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related fields; at least 1 year of relevant experience.

2. Strong practical skills in organic synthesis and a solid commitment to lab safety.

3. Meticulous experimental technique with excellent data analysis capabilities.

4. Proven ability to conduct independent process R&D with strong communication and teamwork skills.

5. Proficient in literature review and interpretation.

6. Experience in organic chemical process projects is highly preferred.
